Workshop on Sculpture on Rotary Campus, Hailakandi

One day workshop on demonstration of design and sculpture was organized by Rotary Club of hailakandi among the children of different Jyotikendra in Hailakandi District on 29^th of March, 2011.. The Deputy Inspector of School, Sri Sunil sarma inaugurated the workshop in the club premises. Different dignitaries and member of the Rotary club also remained present in this workshop.

Cancar Awareness Program in Lalacherra Tea Garden Hailakandi.

A Cancar awareness program was organised at Lalacherra Tea Garden on 28th March, 2011 by the Rotary Club of Hailakandi for the benifit of the local people . In this connection Dr. R.Tapkira, Dr. P. mukherjee and other eminent doctors from Cachar Cancar Hospital remain present to make the program successful. From Rotary side, President Rtn. Pritikina paul, Rtn.Ranjit Biswas, Rtn. Biswajit Paul, Rtr. Harokishore Chanda and many others were present during the program.

Celebration of International Water Day

The Rotary Club, Hailakandi , proudly celebrated the international water day and in this connection water purifiers were distributed among the different schools and given a "Bill Board" advertisement on  "Clean Water......for all".
      An awareness program was organized in Pabitra Mohan Pathshala, Katlicherra. Dr. Subrata Dey, the in charge, S.K.Roy Hospital , Katlicherra was the Chief Guest in this occasion. Rtn. Dr. P.K.Mazumder also delivered a lecture on the usefulness  of Drinking water. President of the Club, Rtn. Pritikona Paul, Rtr. Sankar Choudhury, Members of the Local Club, SOPAN were also present in this program.

Cloth and Mosquito net distribution.

On 14th March, 2011, The Rotary Club, Hailakandi has distributed Cloths and Mosquito Net among the children in Residential Bridge Course Centre, Katlicherra.Rtn. Manos Kanti Das , the chartered President of the club handed over "mosri " to the co ordinator of RBCC ,Manipur Bagan, Sri Mohit Duttachoudhury.

Blood Donation Camp

Blood donation Camp was organised in remembrance of Late Sanjoy Chakraborty by the Rotary Club of Hailakandi in association with Barak Valley Voluntary Blood Donars Forum on 25th February, 2011 in the premises of Town Hall, Hailakandi. All the members were actively participated in this auspicious occasion.

Celebration of foundation day

The Rotary Club of Hailakandi celebrated its 106th foundation day on 23rd february, 2011 in the Club premises. All the Club members were remain present on this occasion.

Cancar Awareness Program in Police Reserve, Hailakandi.

A Cancar awareness program was organised on 27th February, 2011 by the Rotary Club of Hailakandi. The venue was Police Reserve, Hailakandi. The eminent doctor of Cachar Cancar Hospital, Dr. Ravi Kannan was the resource person of the awareness program. Rtn. H. Bhattacharjee ,the Superintendent of Police, Hailakandi, was the chief Guest of that program.

Formation of Interact Club and Career Guidance Program

On 19th March, 2010, a new interact club was formed in Royal High School, Hailakandi under the active support of Rotary Club of Hailakandi. Apart from this ,a Carrier Guidance program was also put forward among the school students of the same school. The resourse person was Sri Himabrata Chakraborty, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Zoology, S.S.College, Hailakandi.
